(A) Regular meetings.
(1) The Town Council shall hold regular meetings on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each calendar month. Council meetings shall be held at 4:00 p.m. and this amendment shall be effective on February 12, 2022.
(2) Each year, the Town Council shall approve a schedule of its regular meetings.
(3) The Council may decide to cancel, reschedule or delay a meeting for any reason the Council deems appropriate. (`82 Code, § 2-4-1) (Am. Ord. 253, passed 10-24-85; Am. Ord. 452, passed 10-12-95)
(B) Special meetings. The Mayor, Town Manager, or Town Attorney may schedule a special Council meeting. (`82 Code, § 2-4-2)
(C) Meetings to be public. All proceedings of the Council shall be open to the public, except that upon approval by a majority vote of the Council, the Council may meet in a closed executive session pursuant to the provisions of state law. (`82 Code, § 2-4-3)
(D) Quorum. A majority of the Council shall constitute a quorum for transacting business, but a lesser number may adjourn from time to time and compel the attendance of absent members. (`82 Code, § 2-4-4)
