9-13-7: ACTION BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION:
   A.   Decision Of Planning And Zoning Commission: Within sixty five (65) days after the public hearing or at the next regular meeting of the planning and zoning commission, whichever occurs last, the commission shall either approve, conditionally approve or disapprove the request for a variance.
   B.   Grounds For Decision: Upon granting or denying an application, the planning and zoning commission shall specify:
      1.   The ordinance and standards used in evaluating the application;
      2.   The reasons for approval or denial; and
      3.   The actions, if any, that the applicant could take to obtain a permit.
   C.   Written Notice To Applicant: Within thirty (30) days after a decision has been rendered, the planning and zoning administrator/building inspector shall provide the applicant with written notice of the action on the request.
   D.   Appeal: The applicant or any affected person who appeared in person or in writing before the planning and zoning commission may appeal the decision of the commission to the board of county commissioners, in accordance with this title. (Ord. 40, 4-9-1984)
