A person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in an amount not exceeding three hundred dollars ($300.00) or be imprisoned in the city jail for a period not exceeding six (6) months, or be both so fined and imprisoned. Nothing in this chapter shall be construed as to limit county employees or other authorized persons from performing their official or county authorized duties. (Ord. 2003-7, 7-14-2003)
