(A) An applicant, operator or licensee shall permit law enforcement officers and any other federal, state, county or city agency in the performance of any function connected with the enforcement of this chapter, normally and regularly conducted by such agency, to inspect the premises of a sexually oriented business for the purpose of ensuring compliance with this chapter at any time it is occupied or open for business.
(B) It shall be unlawful for a licensee, operator or employee of a sexually oriented business to refuse to permit a law enforcement officer or any agency enumerated in division (A) of this section to inspect the premises at any time the premises is occupied or open for business.
(C) The provisions of this section do not apply to areas of an adult motel which are currently being rented by a customer for use as a permanent or temporary habitation.
