§ 96.06 COLLECTION OF CAT AND DOG LICENSE FEES BY CITY TREASURER; REGISTRAR OF LICENSE FEES PAID.
   It shall be the duty of the City Treasurer to collect all cat and dog license fees and to issue receipts therefore, and the City Treasurer shall keep a register of all cats and dogs upon which a license fee shall have been paid in a register provided by the city for that purpose, which shall include a brief description of the cat or dog, including sex, age, breed, color and call name, and the name, address and telephone number of the owner, the date upon which the license fee was paid and the number of the license tag issued thereon. A suitable metal license tag furnished by the city (numbered consecutively) shall be issued by the city along with the receipt to each of the licenses. The receipt and license, so issued, shall be valid only until April 30 next following the issuance thereof.
