(A) The City Council, by resolution or ordinance, may prohibit parking or prohibit parking during certain hours of the day or night on any street or alley and upon adoption of such resolution or ordinance parking on any such street or alley during the hours therein designated shall be prohibited.
(B) The City Council, by resolution or ordinance, may limit parking of any vehicle for a longer consecutive period of time in any area or zone designated as a limited time parking zone and so marked and upon adoption of such resolution or ordinance parking for a longer consecutive period of time in the area or zone therein designated shall be prohibited.
