§ 51.54 ACCESS TO PREMISES.
   (A)   The Superintendent of the Water and Sewer Department of the city and other duly authorized employees of the city bearing proper credentials and identification shall be permitted to enter, at proper hours of the day, all private properties and shall have free access to all parts of a building or premises to which water service is provided for the purpose of, but not limited to, inspection, observation, measurement, sampling, installation, repair and maintenance of the water meters within the private property, building or premises.
   (B)   If any person refuses to permit the Superintendent of the Water and Sewer Department of the city, or other duly authorized employees of the city, to enter any premises for the purpose authorized in division (A) of this section in addition to any other remedy provided by law, the city may seek a search warrant or other appropriate court order to gain entry to the premises.
