§ 51.43 REPAIRS.
   (A)   Inside city limits. All repairs for water service pipes of buildings within the city limits of the city, from the water main of the city to the shut-off box of the building for which the water service pipe is installed shall be made by and at the expense of the city; provided, however, that the city shall not be required to make any such repairs on private property. All repairs for water service pipes of buildings within the city limits of the city, from the shut-off box of the building for which the water service pipe is installed to the building being served shall be made by and at the expense of the owners of the premises served. All repairs for sanitary sewer service pipes of buildings within the city limits of the city, from the sanitary sewer main of the city to the building for which the sanitary sewer service pipe is installed shall be made by and at the expense of the owners of the premises served. All repairs for storm sewer service pipes of buildings within the city limits of the city, from the storm sewer main of the city to the building for which the storm sewer service pipe is installed shall be made by and at the expense of the owners of the premises served.
   (B)   Outside city limits. All repairs for water service pipes of building outside of the city limits of the city, from the water main of the city to the building being served shall be made by and at the expense of the owners of the premises served. All repairs for sanitary sewer service pipes of buildings outside the city limits of the city, from the sanitary sewer main of the city to the building for which the sanitary sewer service pipe is installed shall be made by and at the expense of the owners of the premises served. All repairs for storm sewer service pipes of buildings outside of the city limits of the city, from the storm sewer main of the city to the building for which the storm sewer service pipe is installed shall be made by and at the expense of the owners of the premises served.
