§ 51.20 RESIDENTIAL USER WATER CONNECTION FEE.
   The fee for new connection with water mains of the city by a residential user shall be $350. For all new connections with water mains of the city by a residential user, it shall be the duty of the city to tap the water mains, furnish all materials and labor necessary to connect the game with the water system of the city from the water mains to the outer property line of the property for which the permit is issued; provided, however, that no water tap made by the city for the above fee shall exceed 50 feet in length; and further provided, however, that the city for the fee shall not be required to make any such connection on private property. The service line from the water main to the residence shall be a 3/4-inch (inside diameter) service with a 3/4-inch by 5/8-inch water meter. All materials necessary for said connection shall be purchased by the city and the actual cost thereof to the city shall be reimbursed to the city by the applicant.
