§ 33.34 COMPENSATORY TIME.
   Hourly full-time employees not covered by a collective bargaining agreement may receive compensatory time off or overtime pay. Compensatory time is earned at a rate of one and one-half hours for each hour of overtime worked. Compensatory time may be accrued up to a total of 40 hours only. Such an employee shall be paid cash for overtime worked after they have accrued 40 hours of compensatory time. Compensatory time may be used by the employee only after requesting and scheduling the same at least 48 hours in advance with his or her supervisor. The supervisor shall consider the manpower needs of the city in determining whether or not to grant the use of the compensatory time as requested. Benefit salary shall not be included in the compensatory time compensation.
