§ 33.08 RESIDENT AND TELEPHONE REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   The Chief of Police for the city must be a bona fide resident of the city except at the time of employment or appointment when he or she need not be a resident of the city, but shall establish residence in the city within six months and shall maintain an up-to-date record of residence address with the City Clerk.
   (B)   There shall be no residency requirement for the City Comptroller and any administrative support staff.
   (C)   Except as otherwise provided in this section, full-time employees who are not covered by a collective bargaining agreement shall abide by the residency requirements provided for the collective bargaining agreements which apply to their particular city department.
   (D)   All full-time personnel employed by the city shall maintain and provide the City Clerk with a mobile telephone number to provide the city with reasonably convenient telephone access.
   (E)   Full-time personnel employed by the city who are not covered by a collective bargaining agreement shall receive either a city-owned and paid mobile phone and service plan, or a telephone allowance of $30 per month which, at the City Comptroller's option, may be included in the payment of the employee's regular paycheck.
