Whenever any provision contained in this chapter is in conflict with any provision contained in any collective bargaining agreement entered into by the city on or after September 14, 2009, the provisions in the collective bargaining agreement shall prevail and the conflicting provisions contained in this chapter shall not apply to any employee covered under a collective bargaining agreement.
