There shall be the following numbers and classes of licenses with an annual license fee as indicated:
A. Class A Licenses: Class A licenses shall authorize the retail sale on the premises specified of alcoholic liquor for consumption on the premises as well as other retail sales of such liquor, except between the hours of two o'clock (2:00) A.M. and six o'clock (6:00) A.M. of any day except Sunday, and two o'clock (2:00) A.M. and ten o'clock (10:00) A.M. on Sunday. The annual fee for such license shall be three hundred fifty dollars ($350.00).
B. Class B Licenses: Class B licenses shall authorize the retail sale of alcoholic liquor, but not for consumption on the premises where sold and except between the hours of two o'clock (2:00) A.M. and six o'clock (6:00) A.M. of any day except Sunday, and two o'clock (2:00) A.M. and ten o'clock (10:00) A.M. on Sunday. The license fee for such license shall be two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00).
C. Class D Licenses: Class D licenses shall authorize the retail sale of beer and wine only, but not for consumption on the premises where sold and except between the hours of two o'clock (2:00) A.M. and six o'clock (6:00) A.M. of any day except Sunday, and two o'clock (2:00) A.M. and ten o'clock (10:00) A.M. on Sunday. The annual fee for such license shall be two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00).
D. Class E Licenses: Class E licenses shall authorize the retail sale of alcoholic liquor on the premises of a club and except for the hours of two o'clock (2:00) A.M. through six o'clock (6:00) A.M. of any day except Sunday, and two o'clock (2:00) A.M. and ten o'clock (10:00) A.M. on Sunday. The annual fee for a Class E license shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00).
E. Class F Licenses: Class F licenses shall authorize the retail sale of beer and wine only for consumption on the premises where sold and except for the hours of two o'clock (2:00) A.M. to six o'clock (6:00) A.M. of any day except Sunday, and two o'clock (2:00) A.M. and ten o'clock (10:00) A.M. on Sunday. The annual fee for such license shall be two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00).
F. Class G Licenses: Class G licenses shall authorize the retail sale on the premises specified of alcoholic liquor for consumption on the premises as well as other retail sales of such liquor, and except for the hours between two o’clock (2:00) A.M. and six o’clock (6:00) A.M. on Monday through Saturday, and between two o’clock (2:00) A.M. and ten o’clock (10:00) A.M. on Sunday. The annual fee for such license shall be three hundred fifty dollar ($350.00). For renewals of Class G liquor license, due May 1, 2021, the annual fee is waived. The annual fee will be in place for renewals May 1, 2022 and forward.
G. Special Event Licenses: Special event licenses shall temporarily authorize the sale of beer and "wine coolers" (herein defined as a mixture of wine and other liquids and with an alcoholic content of under 7 percent by volume) only on the specified premises only from twelve o'clock (12:00) noon to twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight for a period of not to exceed three (3) calendar days during the event known as Pawnee Prairie Days, or for a period not to exceed one calendar day for other special events as specifically authorized from time to time by resolution of the Village Board. Any such resolution shall state whether the special event may occur in whole or in part on a Village street, sidewalk or other property, and shall identify the areas where the special event may occur. The grant of a special event license shall be conditional upon proof of temporary dramshop insurance naming the Village as an additional insured if the special event is to occur in whole or in part on a Village street, sidewalk or other property, and upon reasonable practices to prevent the sale to or consumption by minors. The license fee shall be fifty dollars ($50.00) for the first day and fifteen dollars ($15.00) for any succeeding day.
H. Class H Licenses: Class H licenses shall authorize the retail sale on the premises specified of alcoholic liquor for consumption on the premises as well as other retail sales of such liquor, except between the hours of midnight (12:00) A.M. and six o’clock (6:00) A.M. of any day except Sunday, and midnight (12:00) A.M. and ten o’clock (10:00) A.M, on Sunday.
