8-1-7: RESPONSIBILITY FOR COMPLIANCE WITH CODES:

No person shall violate any provision of the IBC, the IRC or the international property maintenance code. No person who owns, occupies or controls real property within the corporate limits of the village shall suffer or permit a violation of the IBC, the IRC or the international property maintenance code on such property.
