5-1-5: PARKING RESTRICTIONS:
   A.   No person shall park a truck, except those licensed by the State of Illinois with a B license classification, a bus having a rated seating capacity of twenty (20) or more passengers, farm equipment, construction equipment, trailers, boats on trailers, or any camper or motor home of any description or use:
      1.   On a roadway, unless approved by the Village of Pawnee;
      2.   On any public street for a period of twenty-four (24) consecutive hours or more.
   B.   No person shall park, store, keep or allow to stand any vehicle not listed in paragraph A. of this section on any public street or alley or property owned by the Village of Pawnee for a period of seven (7) consecutive days or more.
   C.   Any registered owner of a vehicle that from all appearances maybe in violation of paragraph A.1. of this section may be subject to the issuance of a parking notice from the Pawnee Police Department. The parking notice shall inform the registered owner of the vehicle that the vehicle may be in violation of Title 5, Chapter 1 of the Village of Pawnee Code of Ordinances. The notice shall further warn the owner that if the vehicle is not moved within seven (7) days of the date of mailing the parking notice, the vehicle shall be towed by the police department. The notice shall be mailed to the address of the registered owner of the vehicle by regular U.S. Mail. In no case shall a vehicle be towed pursuant to a violation of division (B) of this section until seven (7) days after the mailing of a parking notice by the department.
   D.   In addition to the parking notice described in division (C) of this section, all inoperable vehicles shall have an inoperable vehicle sticker firmly affixed to the left side of the rear window of the vehicle. The inoperable vehicle sticker shall specify that the vehicle must be removed from the public street within seven (7) days of the date of the placement of the sticker or it may be towed by the department.
