A. Any person, firm or corporation which violates any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine of not less than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) nor more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) for each offense. Each time an owner or operator or agent of a secondhand store purchases goods, items or articles for resale, or accepts consignment of items for sale, in violation of this ordinance, constitutes a separate offense.
