8-2-1: GENERAL TERMS:
For the purpose of this title, certain terms, phrases, or words used herein shall be defined and interpreted as set out in this chapter. Where terms, phrases, or words are not defined, they shall have their ordinary accepted meanings within the context with which they are used. "Webster's Third New International Dictionary Of The English Language" shall be considered as providing ordinary accepted meanings.
For the purpose of this title, certain terms, phrases, or words used herein shall be defined as follows:
   A.   The word "person" includes a firm, association, organization, partnership, trust, company or corporation, as well as an individual;
   B.   The present tense includes the future tense, the singular numbers include the plural and the plural numbers include the singular;
   C.   The words "shall" and "must" are always mandatory requirements, the word "may" is a permissive requirement and the word "should" is a preferred requirement;
   D.   The words "used" or "occupied" include the words "intended, designed or arranged to be used or occupied";
   E.   The word "lot" includes the words "plot", "parcel" and "tract";
   F.   The term "erected" means "constructed", "altered", "moved", or "repaired";
   G.   The terms "administrator" or "administration" are synonymous with the term "planning and zoning administrator";
   H.   The term "planning and zoning commission" is synonymous with the term "zoning commission". (Ord. 411, 8-14-2002)
   I.   The masculine shall include the feminine. (Ord. 2003-2, 3-12-2003)
