§ 33.30 VILLAGE SOLICITOR.
   (A)   Legal counsel shall be provided to act in civil, contract and criminal matters for the village, and the person employed as such counsel shall be known as the Solicitor of the village.
   (B)   The salary of the Solicitor in civil, contract and criminal manner shall be paid as per contract per ordinance, plus actual out-of-pocket expenses for long distance telephone calls and postage; mileage at the rate determined by the Internal Revenue Service; and photocopying. Such Solicitor shall be employed by the Council of the village for a period not exceeding 20 months.
