(A) The carrying of concealed weapons as described under R.C. § 2923.126(B)(7) is hereby authorized on village property with the following exceptions, wherein carrying of a concealed weapon (CCW) is not permitted:
(1) Buildings where court is conducted when court is in session or is scheduled. This includes the village’s Mayor’s Court, currently located at 116 S. Main St., Paulding, OH 45879; and
(2) Police Department buildings/facilities.
(B) The unlawful possession, use, or discharge of any type of a firearm within a village park or recreation area is strictly forbidden. The term FIREARM as used in this section shall have the same meaning as in R.C. § 2923.11. Recreation areas include the village’s water park/municipal pool.
(C) All other village areas not prohibited herein or otherwise prohibited by law are hereby declared permissible CCW zones.
