§ 51.026 EXCAVATION AND INSTALLATION.
   (A)   The contractor, builder or customer shall furnish to the Utility the address of the property, the location of the sewer line on the property and the location of the sewer tap at the main sewer line.
   (B)   The materials and sewer tap will be in accordance with specifications of the Municipal Utilities. The Municipal Utilities will inspect and approve the sewer tap before the builder, contractor or customer fills in the sewer line. All materials used will be at no expense to the Utilities.
   (C)   All excavations required for the installation of a building sewer shall be open-trench work unless otherwise approved by the Superintendent. Pipe laying and backfill shall be performed in accordance with the Superintendent’s specifications, and no backfill shall be placed until the work has been inspected by the Superintendent or his or her representative.
   (D)   All excavations for lateral sewer installation shall be adequately guarded with barricades and 1ights so as to protect the public from hazard. Streets, sidewalks, parkways and other public property disturbed in the course of work shall be restored in a manner satisfactory to the town.
