In the subdivision entitled ____________________________________________, artificial drainage has been installed according to plans and specifications prepared by___________________________, and based upon the requirement of the Albemarle Regional Health Service to keep the seasonal high water table a minimum of 12 inches below the septic tank nitrification lines. Proper landscaping and maintenance of these drainage facilities are the responsibility of the property owners to ensure that septic tank malfunctions do not occur. The District Health Department assumes no responsibility for the design, maintenance or the guaranteed performance of the artificial drainage measures and their effects.
