§ 93.16  DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   DRIVEWAY.  An improved or unimproved path or road extending from a public or private road or right-of-way to a single dwelling, together with other non-residential buildings under a single or common ownership, intended to provide ingress and egress primarily for the occupants thereof.
   DRAIN COMMISSIONER.  The County Drain Commissioner.
   EASEMENT.  The right of an owner of property by reason of such ownership, to use the property of another for purposes of ingress, egress, utilities, drainage and similar uses. In the context of this subchapter, private road easements shall be designated for purposes of vehicle ingress and egress.
   LOT.  A tract of land which can be legally described with certainty and is capable of being located by survey.
   PLANNING COMMISSION.  The Township Planning Commission.
   PRIVATE ROAD.  An undedicated path, trail or road which provides or is intended to provide the primary means of ingress and egress to two or more parcels or two or more principal buildings, dwelling units or combination thereof, created by an easement.
   PUBLIC ROAD.  A public or dedicated right-of-way, which affords the principal means of vehicular access to abutting property, and which is under public ownership or control.
   TOWNSHIP BOARD.  The Township Board of Trustees.
