§ 32.37  ESTABLISHMENT OF FIRE BOARD, TERMS OF OFFICE AND MEMBERSHIP.
   (A)   There is hereby established a joint Fire Board, which shall be composed of representatives of the township, Sandstone Township and the Village of Parma, which shall be the governing body of the Fire Department.
   (B)   No member of the Board shall be an employee of the Fire Department of the participating municipalities.
   (C)   There shall be seven members on the Board:
      (1)   Two from each of the participating municipalities; and
      (2)   One joint appointee by the Fire Board for a term of one year.
   (D)   One member from each municipality shall be an elected Township Board member appointed to serve by their respective boards, for a term of four years, concurrent with their term of office.
   (E)   One member from each municipality shall be a member at large from the community of the respective townships and village appointed by each entity, for a term of three years. Initial members shall be appointed with staggered terms: one member for a term of one year, one member for a term of two years and one member for a term of three years.
   (F)   The Secretary of the Fire Board shall be responsible for notifying boards of expiration of terms of office for Board appointments. Appointments to the Board shall be made within 30 days of expiration of term by the respective Boards. Each member shall be a resident of the respective community that he or she represents.
   (G)   The six members shall vote for Chairperson of the Board and the seventh member shall be appointed by the Board of the municipality from which the Chairperson shall come for a term of one year, when the Chairperson is established.
   (H)   Members of the Fire Board may be removed by their appointing governing bodies for misfeasance, malfeasance or nonfeasance of duties.
