(A) Annually report to the City Council on their accomplishments. This report shall be made to the City Council at the second meeting in May of each respective year.
(B) Prepare an annual report for the City Council outlining applicable plans and specifications, for future park improvements and beautification plans, including those associated with the plans. This report shall be made to the City Council at the second meeting in May of each year, to allow for incorporation of any anticipated expenditures and/or capital improvements into the city budget.
(C) Frequently visit the city parks to evaluate, assess and determine what improvements if any are needed.
(D) Develop and recommend methods to stimulate positive public interest in the parks and in the beautification of the entire city.
(E) Develop and recommend feasible methods of discouraging vandalism and destruction in the city parks.
(F) Serve as a forum for the public to voice their opinions regarding the city parks and the beautification of the entire city.
(G) Encourage dissemination of information to organizations interested in the parks and the beautification of Park Rapids.
(H) Coordinate efforts with interested organizations.
