The applicant shall furnish the city with proof of a good and sufficient code compliance bond issued by a company authorized to do business in Minnesota, to protect, indemnify and save harmless the city from any and all loss, claim, suit or damage, direct or consequential, that the city may sustain by reason of the violation of any rules or regulations. The amount of the bond shall meet the requirements of the State of Minnesota.
