The City Clerk/Treasurer shall, as a condition precedent to granting a permit under this chapter, require said permittee to post a performance bond in an amount specified by the Public Works Director sufficient to defray the cost of performing the repair and restoration work that will arise out of the work to be done pursuant to that permit.
