901.03 PERMISSION REQUIRED FOR MOVING OF BUILDINGS.
No person shall move or cause to be moved, any house or building along, upon or across any street, alley, sidewalk or public place within the corporate limits of the City, without first obtaining permission from the Director of Public Works. The person desiring such permission shall make application to the Director by submitting a petition in writing, stating the building proposed to be moved and the place from which and the place to which it is proposed to move the building, and the route to be followed. The moving shall be done only within such hours as the Director of Public Works may see fit to prescribe in granting such permission.
Each day or part of a day that such house or building obstructs in whole or in part any street, alley, sidewalk or public place, when such house or building is being moved without permission or contrary to the restrictions of such permission, shall constitute a distinct and separate offense.
