(a) No person shall engage in business in the capacity of distributor or retailer of wines within the City without first obtaining a license from the City.
(b) The City shall collect an annual fee for licenses issued under this article as follows:
(1) Two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) per year for a distributors license; and
(2) Seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per year beginning July 1, 1981 and one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) thereafter for a retailer's license.
(c) The license period shall begin on July 1 of each year and end on June 30 the following year, and if the initial license is granted for less than a year, the fee shall be computed in proportion to the number of quarters remaining in the fiscal year, including the quarter in which application is made.
(d) The enforcement of this article shall be consistent with and subject to the provisions of W. Va. Code 60-8-1 et seq. (Ord. 0-116. Passed 6-23-81.)
