525.99 PENALTY.
   (EDITOR’S NOTE: See Section 501.99(a) for general Code penalty if no specific penalty is provided.)
   (a)   (1)   Any person under the age of eighteen who is convicted of a violation of Section 525.06(a) shall be assessed a fine of no less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00), and no more than one hundred dollars ($100.00). In lieu of payment of all or part of this fine, the court may provide for the performance of community service.
      (2)   Any parent, guardian or other adult person having the care, custody or control of any person under the age of eighteen who is convicted of a violation of Section 525.06(b) shall be assessed a fine of no less than one hundred dollars ($100.00), and no more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00).    (b)   Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of Section 525.07, shall be fined not less than ten nor more than twenty-five dollars for the first offense, and for each subsequent offense, not less than twenty-five nor more than three hundred dollars. It shall be a complete defense if the recipient falsely evidenced that he was eighteen years of age or older and the appearance of the recipient was such that a prudent person would believe the false evidence.
   (c)   Whoever violates Section 525.08 shall be fined five dollars.
