There shall be a Parkersburg Floodwall Advisory Board for the purpose of acting as an advisory board to assist the Mayor, Council and Public Works Director in the operation of the floodwall systems of the City.
The Parkersburg Floodwall Advisory Board shall consist of five members appointed by City Council, with each such member to serve for a term of three years, providing that one member of the Advisory Board shall serve an initial term expiring December 31, 1995; two members whose initial terms shall expire December 31, 1996; and two members whose initial terms shall expire December 31, 1997; the purpose of such staggered terms to ensure continuity upon the Advisory Board.
