(a) The estimated number of City of Parkersburg personnel needed to ensure public safety, sanitary conditions, and efficient operations in the Market Street Designated Area are:
Two (2) police officers
Two (2) public works/sanitation employees
At the time of adoption of this Article, the City of Parkersburg City Council anticipates that these City employees will be working their regular shifts and generally assigned in the area of the City. At any time, the Mayor has the authority to reassess personnel needs through consultation with the Director of Public Works, the Sanitation Supervisor, and the Chief of the City of Parkersburg Police Department.
