The following sections of the International Residential Code, as incorporated in the State Building Code, are hereby amended to read as set forth herein:
R101.1 Title. These provisions shall be known as the Residential Code for One- and Two- Family Dwellings of the City of Parkersburg, and shall be cited as such and will be referred to herein as "this code".
R301.2(1), Table: Climatic and Geographic Design Criteria. (see table attached).
P2603.6.1 Sewer depth. Building sewers that connect to private sewage disposal systems shall be a minimum of 24 inches (mm) below finished grade at the point of septic tank connection. Building sewers shall be a minimum of 24 inches (mm) below grade.
P3103.1 Roof extension. All open vent pipes which extend through a roof shall be terminated at least 16 inches above the roof or 6 inches above the anticipated snow accumulation, except that where a roof is to be used for any purpose other that weather protection, the vent extensions shall be run at least 7 feet (2134 mm) above the roof.
