129.02 RESPONSIBILITY FOR CITY INSTRUMENTS.

The City Engineer shall have charge and custody of, and be responsible for all surveying, mathematical and other similar instruments belonging to the City, which he shall care for and turn over to his successor, taking his receipt in duplicate therefor, one of which duplicates he shall file in the office of the City Clerk.
