123.09 DETECTIVE BUREAU.

There shall be a detective bureau in the Police Department consisting of such number of men as may be appointed by the Mayor from time to time upon the recommendation of the Chief of Police. The detective bureau shall perform such duties as are prescribed by the rules and regulations of the Police Department.
