The plumbing code of the town is amended to include the following provisions:
A. All house drains shall terminate at least two feet (2') beyond the building foundation, and an approved cleanout tee shall be installed. An approved expansion coupling shall be installed on the discharge end of the cleanout tee prior to calling for rough inspection regardless of what type of material is used for the building sewer.
B. All horizontal vents exceeding ten feet (10') in length installed in attic spaces shall be equipped with an approved expansion coupling.
C. All plastic DWV pipe shall be marked with the name of the manufacturer every eighteen inches (18") and shall carry the marking of the size and the commercial standard (#CS 270-65). It shall also be stamped with the UPC approval every eighteen inches (18").
D. Approved fittings shall also be marked with the manufacturer's name and brand and be so marked on both sides.
E. Joints shall be made using solvent cement recommended by the manufacturer of the plastic pipe. (1988 Code § 7-2-2; amd. 2004 Code)
