§ 70.02 DRIVING SAFETY COURSE; FEES.
   (A)   The Municipal Court of the city may, pursuant to provisions of amendment to the Uniform Act Regulating Traffic on Highways, being Tex. Trans. Code, Ch. 601, require the person requesting a driving safety course to pay a fee set by the Court in an amount that does not exceed $10, including any special fees authorized by statute or municipal ordinance to cover the cost of administering the course.
   (B)   Pursuant to the authority in the State Motor Vehicle Safety Responsibility Act, being Tex. Trans. Code, Chapter 601, the Municipal Court shall require the payment of a $10 fee before dismissing proceedings in that Court, based on a charge of a person’s failure to maintain financial responsibility as defined in the State Motor Vehicle Safety Responsibility Act.
   (C)   Pursuant to the authority in the State Motor Vehicle Act, being Tex. Trans. Code, Ch. 601, the Municipal Court shall require the payment of a $10 fee before dismissing proceedings in that Court, based on the charge of a person’s failure to display a valid driver’s license as defined in the State Motor Vehicle Act.
