§ 155.062 ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   Sight barriers and bufferyards. Residential areas shall be separated from nonresidential or adjacent city or extraterritorial jurisdiction areas by a bufferyard in accordance with Chapter 156 of this code, open space, the erection of an earthen sight barrier berm of 6 feet minimum height, with a maximum 2 feet horizontal to 1 foot vertical slope, or other means as deemed appropriate by the City Council.
   (B)   Inspections.
      (1)   A letter of acceptance shall be required from the City Inspector Engineer before any job is designated as complete.
      (2)   No acceptance will be given on any work covered before the City Inspector Engineer has seen it.
      (3)   A minimum of 1 work day’s notice shall be given to the city before an inspection at the job site. Any work or improvements requiring inspection shall be accessible or uncovered for inspection.
   (C)   Permits. Any developer, contractor, builder, or the like shall obtain a permit from the city prior to the commencement of any construction. This includes such improvements as erosion control, vegetation or tree removal, floodplain grading, street construction, removal of existing structures, utility installation, and the like.
