§ 151.02 CODES ADOPTED.
   (A)   The standards and requirements set forth in the following codes shall hereafter be required by this section in the city, and these codes are adopted regulating the construction, enlargement, alteration, repair, moving, removal, demolition, conversion, occupancy, equipment use, height, area, and maintenance of all buildings or structures within the corporate limits of the city. Copies of these codes shall be maintained in the office of the Building Official of the city or the City Secretary’s office.
   (B)   The above-mentioned codes are as follows:
      (1)   The International Building Code, 2000 edition with regional amendments;
      (2)   The International Residential Code, 2000 edition with regional amendments;
      (3)   The International Fire Code, 2000 edition with regional amendments;
      (4)   The International Plumbing Code, 2000 edition with regional amendments;
      (5)   The International Mechanical Code, 2000 edition with regional amendments;
      (6)   The International Fuel Gas Code, 2000 edition with regional amendments;
      (7)   The National Electrical Code, 1999 edition with regional amendments; and
      (8)   The International Energy Conservation Code, 2000 edition.
   (C)   The city hereby adopts the Life Safety Code, 1997 edition, as published by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), together with the additions, deletions, and amendment herein adopted amendments hereinafter contained, as the Life Safety Code of the city, the same as though that code of the city, the same as though that code were copied at length herein.
