The National Electrical Code, 1981 edition, as adopted by the Board of Housing, Buildings, and Construction, and any additions, copies of which are made a part of the public records of the city, and are filed in the office of the City Clerk/Treasurer, are hereby adopted by reference and shall control the erection, construction, or repair of all buildings in the city.
