§ 68.001 STORES MAY BE OPEN ON SUNDAYS
   Pursuant to the authorization contained in KRS 436.165, in addition to the grocery, drug, and other retail stores authorized by KRS 436.160 to remain open and do business on Sunday, all other stores and businesses inside the city limits which legally may do business during normal working hours on weekdays, are hereby authorized to remain open and do business on Sundays, and all retail activities which may legally be performed during normal working hours on weekdays, may also be performed on Sundays, subject to the following restrictions:
   (A)   No retail store or business hereby authorized to remain open and do business on Sundays shall be open to the public between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon unless permitted by state statute.
   (B)   All employers who conduct retail business sales or other retail activities on Sundays under the authority of this section shall, as a condition thereof, abide by the limitations now imposed by state law and such other limitations and regulations as may hereinafter be legally imposed upon them with respect to Sunday business by federal, state, or local law.
