(A) The Division of Water Patrol shall be established in the Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources within the Tourism Cabinet. The Division of Water patrol shall be headed by a director appointed by the Commissioner of the Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, subject to the approval of the Governor.
(B) The Division of Water Patrol shall be authorized to employ necessary personnel to carry out the functions pursuant to the provisions of KRS Chapter 235.
(C) The Division of Water Patrol shall be composed of organizational entities deemed appropriate by the secretary of the Tourism Cabinet.
