§ 52.152 PROHIBITING THE CARRYING OF CONCEALED WEAPONS ON CITY PROPERTY
   (A)   Pursuant to KRS 237.115(2), the carrying of concealed deadly weapons, whether by licensed carriers or otherwise, except for peace officers of the Commonwealth, and others specifically authorized by resolution, shall be prohibited in any building owned, leased, or controlled by the city as set forth in subsection (B) below.
   (B)   Property covered by this section includes but it is not limited to buildings owned, leased or controlled by the city at the following locations that contain signs posted at the entrance to the restricted area, which clearly identify that the carrying of concealed deadly weapons is prohibited or limited: Paris Municipal Center, the fire stations, wastewater treatment plant, water treatment plant, water towers, city parks, maintenance center, electric power plant, the recycling center and the compactor building of the city.
   (C)   Persons violating this section shall be denied entrance to the buildings noted hereinabove, or ordered to leave same, and if employees of the city be subject to employee disciplinary measures for violation of the section.
   (D)   This section exempts and shall not be applicable to any building used for public housing by private persons and private dwellings owned, leased, or controlled by the city.
