§ 40.702 WHERE PAID
   (A)   For any specific violations or such other nonmoving traffic violations as may be indicated on a traffic violation ticket issued by a police officer or other authorized peace officer and delivered to a traffic violator in person or placed in clear view on the windshield of an unattended vehicle found to be in violation of a traffic ordinance, the applicable minimum fine may be paid if paid within thirty (30) days of the date shown on the ticket as the date of violation.
   (B)   Payment of the minimum fine may be made by depositing the payment in any collection box placed in the city for the receipt of the fine. The collection boxes shall be in such form and at such locations as may be approved by the Chief of Police.
   (C)   The applicable fine may be paid at any time at the Police Department.
