§ 40.205 STOPPING IN CERTAIN AREAS
   It shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to stop, stand, or park the vehicle in any of the following places in the city, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in conjunction with the directions of a police officer or a traffic-control signal:
   (A)   Within an intersection;
   (B)   Within fifteen (15) feet of the entrance of the Fire Department;
   (C)   In a fire lane, unless the driver remains behind the wheel of the vehicle, and the engine of the vehicle is left running;
   (D)   Within ten (10) feet of a fire hydrant;
   (E)   In front of a private driveway;
   (F)   On a sidewalk;
   (G)   Alongside or opposite any street excavation or obstruction when such standing or parking would obstruct traffic;
   (H)   In a designated parking space for persons with disabilities without proper authentication; or
   (I)   On the street or highway side of any vehicle stopped or parked on the edge of the curb of a sidewalk on the streets.
