§ 30.006 EMERGENCY CONSERVATION OF ENERGY
   The Board of Commissioners, upon written certification from the Kentucky Utilities Company, or from Columbia Gas of Kentucky, or upon a determination by the Board of Commissioners after a review of the entire situation that a shortage of electricity, or of gas, exists, which deficiency threatens a loss of energy for essential or residential heating or lighting purposes, or whenever a similar action is taken by the county judge under the order dated January 31, 1977, may declare a state of emergency in the city, and may impose regulations upon the hours per day or days per week during which industrial or commercial activities may be conducted in the city, or in any part thereof.
