§ 22.803 COMPOSITION; APPOINTMENT AND TERMS
   The Board shall consist of seven (7) appointed members known to be persons experienced in or knowledgeable about public recreation; three (3) of whom shall be residents of the county and appointed by the County Judge-Executive and approved by the Fiscal Court for terms of four (4) years to serve at the pleasure of the appointing authority, except the first term shall be staggered for two (2) and four (4) year terms; three (3) members shall be residents of the city, and shall be appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Commission for terms of four (4) years and until their successors are appointed, except the first terms shall be staggered for two (2) and four (4) year terms; and the seventh member of said Board shall be appointed jointly by the County Judge-Executive of Bourbon County, and the Mayor, by agreement, to serve for a term of four (4) years and until his or her successor is appointed, except the first term shall be for three (3) years. City Commissioners, members of the Fiscal Court (i.e. Magistrates), the Mayor and the Judge-Executive are eligible for appointment to the Board. In addition, either the Mayor or his designee from the City Commission (i.e. a City Commissioner) and/or the Judge Executive or his designee from the Fiscal Court (i.e, Magistrate) may serve as an ex officio advisor and observer to the Board and shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor and/or the Judge-Executive, as the case may be.
