A joint city and county recreational board, to be known as the Paris/Bourbon County Recreational Board (herein sometimes referred to as the "Board") is hereby created by joint resolution to establish, maintain, conduct and operate joint parks, playgrounds and recreational system(s), none of which are currently in existence, with said Board to have all the powers and duties as set forth in the applicable statutory provisions located in KRS 97.010 to KRS 97.050. This Board is to be initially financed in equal shares (not to exceed five thousand dollars ($5,000) each) by the City Commission and the Fiscal Court of Bourbon County and other source(s) of financing are anticipated.
