Each member of the volunteer fire department shall receive five dollars ($5.00) for each meeting attended, payable twice yearly on the first of July and January. Each member who reports to a fire that is considered a pay fire is to receive five dollars ($5.00) for the first hour and three dollars ($3.00) per hour thereafter, payable every six (6) months. He must be at the fire or at the fire station in order to be paid for a fire.
