§ 22.510 RIGHT OF ENTRY FOR INSPECTIONS
   The Fire Chief, the Fire Inspector, or any assistant inspector may, at all reasonable hours, enter any building or premises within his jurisdiction for the purpose of making any inspection or investigation which, under the provisions of this article, he or they may deem necessary to be made, provided that the inspection officer must have reason to believe unsafe conditions exist in an occupied building before an inspection can be made, unless a fire was evident.
