§ 22.452 RESIGNATION
   (A)   All members of the Police Department shall give fourteen (14) days’ written notice to the Chief of Police or commanding officer of their intention to resign from the Police Department.
   (B)   Notice may be waived or reduced under special circumstances, with the approval of the Chief of Police and the City Manager.
   (C)   Any member leaving the department without due notice shall be disqualified from ever again becoming a member of the Police Department. Before any resignation is accepted, all equipment and property belonging to the city must be returned to the commanding officer.
